📖 Overview
Link cards are the engine builders of Human Enough. They allow you to play additional Action cards from your hand, often at reduced cost or completely free. The key to using Link cards effectively is having Action cards ready to chain together, especially cards of the same element to trigger element runs.
Timing Detail: Link effects trigger immediately when the card is played. Any additional Actions you play happen right away.
⚙️ Key Mechanics
- Play X free: Play up to X additional Action cards at no Energy cost
- Play X at -N cost: Play additional Actions at reduced Energy cost
- Element matching: Some Links require or reward same-element Actions
- Chain building: Link into more Links for massive card chains
💡 Strategy Tips
Play Link cards early in your turn to maximize the cards you can chain
Hold same-element Action cards to trigger element run bonuses
A Link card that lets you play 2 Actions can enable 3+ total cards played
Look for Link + Rally synergies—Rally rewards you for playing many cards
Free Actions from Links still count as "played" for Rally and other effects
